  • Collection of children's coloring sheets and activity pages themed around the NSPCC Yoga Zoo Challenge, featuring animals for coloring, rainbow breathing exercises, and character activities.

    The Yoga Zoo Challenge

NSPCC needed a new fundraising product aimed at nurseries. It was crucial the product represented fun for children and ease for nursery staff. I worked with a designer to create two concept routes, then refine and deliver the chosen route, all around teaching toddler yoga through a visit to the Yoga Zoo.

I wrote a story incorporating different yoga poses to tie the concept together, as well as creating messaging for the website, social media, and a range of resources including mindfulness breathing, colouring-in sheets and certificates.

This was a pilot project aiming to create a minimum viable product. Early results show almost 100 nurseries have signed up following just £800 in marketing spend.

  • A tablet displaying a safety activity from an NSPCC educational book about online behavior, featuring a cartoon dinosaur wearing glasses, and four color-coded rules: Play, Protect, Ask, and Say.

    Character commercialisation

I’ve consulted on character commercialisation for NSPCC characters including Buddy, Pantorosaurus and, most recently, Techosaurus.

This involves writing for very young audiences, from age 3 upwards, taking into account how characters should speak in a way that’s appropriate, fun, and still communicates important safety messages from the NSPCC.
